• What type of company do you work for? The oil and gas industry.

• How did you get this job? I got this job through an apprenticeship here at Baker Hughes.

• Why was it interesting for you? I've always wanted to get into the industry, and I knew what type of company Baker Hughes was, so there was no other option for me than to get an apprenticeship here.

• What does your work involve? My work involves drawing and measuring pipes that go to various components, as well as calibrating different instruments. There is also a lot of steelwork involved, as being an automation technician is quite a varied profession.

• Why did you choose to work and live in Sunnhordland? I have always lived in Sunnhordland, so for me, there was no doubt that I wanted to continue living and working here.

• What are the extra benefits of living here besides the job? There are many beautiful hiking areas, as well as several centers with many shops. And the cultural center (kulturhuset), where there is a skate park outside.

• What tips do you have for others considering moving to Sunnhordland? One must be that there are many job opportunities here, there are good cultural offerings for children and young people, and there are also short distances to the sea and mountains with fantastic views.

• A perfect workday for me is: A day with well-done work and a sense of accomplishment. It's the best feeling there is!
