• What type of company do you work for? In April, I started as an advisor in HR and HSE at the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences.

• How did you get this job? I applied for the position during my leave and went through an interview process.

• Why was it interesting for you? I find it interesting and rewarding to work towards creating a good work environment.

• What does your work involve? Advising and assisting in HSE and HR issues for managers, the safety service, and employees. The tasks also involve handling deviations, processing leaves of absence, and working with occupational health and safety.

• Why did you choose to work and settle in Sunnhordland? We felt that Bergen was too big for us and wanted to settle somewhere where we were not dependent on a car. As a person from Bergen, I should probably also mention the weather. It rains less here, right?

• What is great about living here besides the job? The outdoor areas and the proximity to everything! There are also incredibly nice people living here!

• What are your tips for others considering moving to Sunnhordland? Take the chance and try it out for a period of time. We are very glad that we did!

• A perfect workday for me is: The combination of being able to contribute and collaborate with great colleagues.
